Short Description :Overview: The Client-Facing Infrastructure Lead within the pharmaceutical industry plays a critical role in managing and enhancing the IT infrastructure solutions provided to pharmaceutical clients. This position requires extensive experience in infrastructure management, combined with strong communication and client-facing skills. The Infrastructure Lead collaborates closely with clients to understand their requirements, design tailored infrastructure solutions, and ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Engagement and Requirements Gathering: Act as the primary point of contact for pharmaceutical clients regarding infrastructure-related matters. Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, infrastructure requirements, and compliance needs. 2. Solution Design and Proposal Development: Collaborate with clients to design customized infrastructure solutions that meet their specific needs and regulatory requirements. Develop comprehensive proposals outlining solution architectures, technical specifications, and project timelines. 3. Project Management and Implementation: Lead the implementation of infrastructure projects, ensuring successful deployment, configuration, and integration of IT systems and services. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget. 4. Technical Expertise and Consultation: Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on infrastructure technologies, best practices, and industry trends. Offer strategic advice on optimizing infrastructure performance, security, and scalability. 5. Compliance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that infrastructure solutions comply with industry regulations and standards relevant to the pharmaceutical sector (e.g., FDA regulations, GxP guidelines). Implement security controls and risk management practices to protect sensitive data and ensure data integrity. 6. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their infrastructure needs. Proactively address client concerns, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services. 7. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to educate them on infrastructure technologies and best practices. Share insights and updates on emerging trends, innovations, and regulatory changes impacting the pharmaceutical industry. 8. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance and health of client infrastructure environments, proactively identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Implement enhancements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and cost- effectiveness. 9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of client infrastructure configurations, project plans, and support activities. Generate regular reports and status updates for clients, highlighting key achievements, metrics, and upcoming initiatives. Qualifications:  Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) is a plus.  Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure management, with a focus on client- facing roles within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.  In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements, such as FDA regulations, GxP guidelines, and HIPAA.  Strong technical proficiency in infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.  Proven track record in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder management.  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.  Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
